With a diverse background and breadth of experience, Nicole is passionate about teaching groups and individuals new skills.
She has coached learners in the IDEO U course Insights for Innovation, and has led workshops for corporations and startups, across design, product, and business.
Public Speaking
Nicole regularly speaks on panels and give presentations on a variety of topics.
Her public speaking engagements have ranged from talks on how to transition to being a product manager, to sustainable design and manufacturing practices, to personal style and branding for entrepreneurs.
Mentorship
As an advocate for diversity and inclusion, Nicole mentors students and young professionals in STEM and creative fields, providing real-life career advice and portfolio/project critique.
She designed and facilitated an all-day event for Girls Who Code, is a mentor for Built by Girls, and has been an advisor at Parsons.
Event Creation & Production
Events are a sweet spot of Nicole's, where she strives to create interactive dynamics, push attendees outside of their comfort zones (in a positive way), and nurture lasting communities.
She throughly enjoys all aspects of curating and hosting an event, including programming development, strategic partnerships, promotional strategy, project management, and workshop facilitation. Click below to learn more about some of the events Nicole has designed, planned, and produced.
Creative Dinners
Nicole has been actively hosting and organizing dinner parties for friends and colleagues since her university days. She often incorporates conversation prompts and games to encourage interpersonal dialogue, spark discussions on a theme, and increase empathy.
Nicole considers cooking one of her most meditative activities, and she especially enjoys collaborating with her mom on elaborate (and simple) courses inspired by their Greek and Mediterranean heritage. Friends refer to Nicole as their favorite camping buddy, as she loves to create and share delicious meals no matter how far from civilization.
